Located just 6 miles from the Prairie Grove Civil War Battlefield and Museum, and 18 miles west of Fayetteville, the Arkansas Country Doctor Museum offers visitors the chance to experience the “good old days” when doctors made house calls and television was new.


Arkansas Apple Festival
— The Apple Festival is held every year in Lincoln during the first weekend of October. It is guaranteed to provide a weekend of fun for the whole family no matter how old you are. Join us as we celebrate our bounty of apples and three days of wholesome family entertainment. The centerpiece of the festival is the unequaled variety of arts and crafts, featuring works of some of the most talented artisans in the Ozarks. These three days are busting full of activities with contests for kids, a queen pageant in our 500-seat auditorium, musical entertainment, gospel singing, and much more. Youngsters are welcome in oru special Kid’s World. And yes, therre is an abundance of apple cider and free apple slices.

Lincoln Rodeo The Lincoln Riding Club’s 55th annual rodeo will be held June 12-15 at the Lincoln Rodeo Arena.

Friends of the Lincoln Library The Lincoln Library has a lot to offer. Check it out! It’s located on the north side of the Lincoln square on Bean St.

Cane Hill and Cane Hill College — Nestled a couple of miles away from the main artery of Highway 62, Cane Hill is a charming historic village that was known for its educational and cultural achievements during the territorial and pioneer era and most of the 19th-century. Cane Hill was the home of the first public school in the state of Arkansas, the first library and the first Sunday school. The earliest factory-made furniture was from Cane Hill and the first steam mill of any importance in the state was constructed there.

Prairie Grove Battlefield State Park and Museum Located eight miles east of Lincoln, this is the site of a Civil War battle with unique buildings depicting the life in Northwest Arkansas in the 1800s.
