The Lincoln Area Chamber of Commerce is gearing up for its annual Christmas on the Square celebration, which will be held on the Lincoln Square Saturday, Dec. 12, from 4:30 to 7 p.m.

Scheduled events include: a holiday meal served by the chamber from 4:30 to 7 p.m. in the community building; a craft bazaar in the Lincoln Senior Center; parade with Santa at 5:30 p.m., photos and visit with Santa in the gazebo at 5:45 p.m.; Lincoln Middle School Choir performs at 6:15 p.m.; and prize drawings will take place at 7 p.m. with a special drawing for the kids.

The Lincoln community turkey dinner, hosted annually by Central United Methodist Church, will be held Thursday, Nov. 12 from 5 to 7 p.m. in the fellowship hall of the church.

Adults can eat for $5 and children younger than 12 can eat for $3. Take out will be available by calling 824-5600 after 4:30 p.m. Meal tickets will automatically be entered in a drawing for a handmade quilt.
